Mission Statement

NCSP’s mission is to support people working or aspiring to work in the cultural sector in the northeast region to develop their skills and thereby progress their careers.

We understand skills to include business, management and practice skills.

We support workforce and organisational development and the development of individuals.

There are three strands to our work:

1)developing our membership so that it is inclusive and representative of the cultural sector

2)providing services that our members need

3)being a conduit for information between our members and policy and resource agencies in the region and nationally
